Cruise Terminal Expansion project of Piraeus Port Authority

Ravago Hellas was awarded as the supplier of concrete admixtures of the Cruise Terminal Expansion project of Piraeus Port Authority.

The new cruise pier is a major investment of the COSCO SHIPPING master plan for Piraeus Port. The project is funded by the Regional Operational Program for Attica 2014-2020. The expansion will be located next to the existing cruise facilities, where large-scale integrated infrastructures will be created to meet the growing touristic needs and contribute to tourism development and the emergence of Greece, as a tourist hub in the Mediterranean Cruise Industry.

The new quay wall has approximately 1,510.00m length and a variable depth of -19.00 to -29.50 m. The building of two (2) completely safe berths is provided, one of 390.00m length and one of 350.00m., respectively. The construction works just began, following a 32-month completion schedule.

Ravago Hellas managed with great effort and after lots of laboratory tests, to be the approved supplier of admixtures (with BASF products) for this major investment.

The project budget for the products related to RAVAGO HELLAS rises to the amount of €1,200,000.
